At New Life Counseling  - Multipurpose  Center, we care about you and are committed to providing comprehensive mental health and substance use services. Individuals aged 10 and up, can participate in both in-office and virtual counseling, with the first session typically held in-office to establish a strong therapeutic foundation. Our expert team offers a wide range of support, including individual counseling, couples counseling and we work with several Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).  Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

It's our desire  to help you develop greater self-awareness and emotional regulation. We strive to create a compassionate and confidential environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges, heal from past traumas, and build a healthier future. Our holistic approach is designed to promote growth, resilience, and well-being for every person we serve.

We are partnered with several insurance companies that may cover all or part of your counseling session.  Give us a call so we can determine your eligibility.  Coaching and Consulting are self pay services.  

Which is right for you?

Counseling vs Life Coaching vs Consulting

• Counseling focuses on healing and understanding past and present emotional challenges and  formally diagnosing substance use disorders (SUDs).  Services are performed by licensed therapist and certified specialized addiction professionals with advanced degrees, strict confidentiality laws (e.g., HIPAA) and ethical standards. 
• Counseling: ✅ Can give a diagnosis for mental health and substance use conditions.

 Typical Issues Addressed:

  Mental health Challenges.  Trauma, grief,      relationship conflicts, stress management, etc. 

Addiction Challenges:   Evaluations for opioids, cannabis, cocaine, alcohol and aftercare services.

•   Coaching focuses on achieving future goals and maximizing potential through  goal assessment, skills development, strengths, barriers and forward-looking strategies.   Services are performed by Certified professionals. No licensed is required.  Ethical standards apply, but less stringent than in counseling.  
• Coaching: ❌ Cannot legally or ethically give a diagnosis . The focus is  on goal achievement.  Coaches may refer clients to licensed professionals when additional support is needed.

          leadership development, achieving personal or professional goals.

• Consulting provides expert advice and solutions to solve specific problems or improve performance.

 Analyzing and problem solving specific concerns within an organization or for an individual.

Business Start Up, Education,   Goal-setting, career transitions, time management,   

    efficiency improvements, strategy development, or addressing challenges.
